- Creating scalable and conversion-friendly eCommerce web-platforms using headless integration of Magento and ReactJS
- Building PWAs platforms to provide a better user experience
- Building distributor B2B portals
- Migrating legacy systems to boost conversion and effectiveness preserving their orders, customers, product data and SEO benefits
- Provide technical leadership, project guidance and business development in retail web-technology space
- Establish the company's retail web-technology technical vision and lead all aspects of the company's retail web-technology vertical
- Lead a team to drive Growisto’s next-generation retail web-technology solutions such as eCommerce AI, headless e-Commerce, recommendation engine, personalization, advance search, etc.
- Identify the productization and automation opportunities as per the internal team and market demand
- Be up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and drive innovation to the retail web-technology space to stay ahead of the competition
- Effectively lead the team to ensure high project billability, profitability and revenue realisation with a focus on quality delivery
- Drive the progress of various projects to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Identify and implement the process improvements related to project management, scrums, client interactions, etc. to achieve the retail web-technology department goals
Team Building & Management
- Lead and grow a team of 30-50 people and grow a superior retail web-technology team with technical talent resulting in a high performing team of consultants and outstanding project execution skills
- Responsible for growth of the team - training, mentorship, OKR creation, listening and providing continuous feedback to the team
- Get involved in team building by actively participating in hiring
- Define the team’s KPIs and objectives that align with organizational objectives
Sales and Marketing
- Get involved in account management and business development as a subject matter expert
- Develop new service offerings and drive business for the same
- Enable sales team with the relevant strategies/pitches to drive business development for retail web-technology solutions as per the market demand
Skills (Must Have):
- 10+ years’ experience working in retail/e-commerce web-technology
- Have strong team management skills with an ability to lead a team of 30-50 individuals
- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment
- Strong project and account management skills including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge in process, metrics, tools to monitor and manage technology teams
- Ability to articulate complex technical topics clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences in both written and verbal form
